I generated the following poem using the BBC Vogon Poem Generator.
I provided the keywords, the generator spit out a poem. I didn't change a thing.
What do you think?
See, see the Extremely dead sky
Marvel at its big fuschia depths.
Tell me, The Emperor do you
Wonder why the Walrus ignores you?
Why its foobly stare
makes you feel Monstrous.
I can tell you, it is
Worried by your attaflatic facial growth
That looks like
A Green spaghetti sauce.
What's more, it knows
Your beeswax potting shed
Smells of dollar.
Everything under the big Extremely dead sky
Asks why, why do you even bother?
You only charm Century Plants.

I've seen lots of poems like this, usually on "experimental" web-zines. Now I know how they manage to come up with this crap!
Anonymous,
You got that right.
It IS a load, isn't it?
Vogon poetry is exquisitely atrocious, and I have actually never seen this generator before.
I recently started a blog on bad poetry--this post may be of interest to you: http://www.badpoesy.com/?p=4
Good post. I've been collecting spam poetry for years, and only recently found out that ANYBODY else was interested in it. I've also been looking for accessible programs to generate content.
To better answer your questions (unless they are provocations), I would like to know what keywords you supplied, to evaluate the "reasoning" that converts them into the poem.
